Quality Assurance

A quality assurance system aims to unify all the elements that affect the quality of either a product or a service, a company offers. Quality is the series of characteristics of a product or service, connected to the potentiality of satisfaction of a certain kind of necessities and demands of a specific market. (meaning, a group of clients ), for whom is either addressed to or formed for. The notion of quality is not merely isolated at the quality of the product or service, but it is also extended to the quality of the company itself that acts as a provider. Therefore, the notion of the Total Quality is formed, targeting mainly to magnify the efficiency of a firm while minimizing the expenses. ISO Standards: The 9000 series of ISO standards include general instructions and directions for how quality could be ensured. Among other protocols, the ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003 are also included. More Specifically: } ISO 9001 forms the standard for assuring the quality at the stages of planning, developing, production, installation and servicing. The aforementioned standard is on use when a firm has to assure its own quality from the very first stage of the production procedure that is the planning of a product or a service. } ISO 9002 forms the standard for ensuring the quality in production, installation and servicing. The aforementioned standard is on use when the production procedure of a small business does not demand a meticulous product designing. } ISO 9003 forms the prototype for ensuring the quality during the final inspection and trial. It has to be mentioned that the requirements of the aforementioned prototypes are complimentary and not alternatives towards the prescribed technical requirements of a product or service. Up to that point, it has to be noticed that from the year 2001,the above mentioned standards (ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003) have been replaced by the following: } ISO 9001: 2008 that imposes specific assumptions for the quality assurance system. } ISO 9004: 2000 which provides directions for improving the efficiency of the administration system of a firm through he improvement of the administration system, beyond the limitations imposed by the prototype 9001:2008. Both new standards aim to be used together, by the firms that wish to develop systems, which could be proceed further from the limited requirements of ISO 9001.Furthermore, the above mentioned new prototypes have been designed in such a way so as to be applied to all kinds of products and all fields of economy. Apart from the individual business consulting to all companies, we provide an inter scientific group of analysts and evaluators of the ISO procedures. The seminars that are organized in due time, are addressed to various levels of competence of the participants.
